The Early Childhood Math Development Foundation's agenda is simple: get promising students into after-school math programs such as Kumon Mathâ„¢, Mathnasiumâ„¢, Sylvanâ„¢, etc., These programs have proven track records in helping students to master math.
The Early Childhood Math Development Foundation helps students in math so they will not fall further behind during this public and financial crisis.
The Early Childhood Math Development Foundation address the critical and urgent needs of our communities, by creating a pipeline to college and universities. These pipelines will generate enrollment in key areas such as health care, education and in STEM fields: Science, technology, and engineering.
ECMDF play a vital role in development of a student early interest in mastering math. We assist parents by providing scholarships to fund their child's tuition to attend an after-school math program.
There is no secret that there's an achievement gap among students from different socioeconomic backgrounds. To close this gap, improve student performance and increase graduation rates among these students, ECMDF focuses on getting students into after-school math programs. Our goal is to provide a system that will level the playing field.
ECMDF know the problem and we have a plan:
The purpose of our non-profit organization (ECDF), is to significantly increase the number of students who receive supplemental math education after school. Participation in a supplemental math program will result in improved math skill skills which will dovetail in developing strong leaders and college graduates.
How we plan to operationalize next steps:
The Early Childhood Math Development, Inc. reaches out to families that can benefit most from our program. Our current outreach efforts includes contacting the following:
- Students of single parents
- Families that receive public benefits
- Families without a permanent residence
- Children in foster care
- Military dependents
- Working class families

Help us sustain our worthwhile work to help students learn to master math. The need is Great.
Math is the secret
Do The Math!
Students can benefit greatly:
Individual Benefits: an investment in supplemental math will improve opportunities for students to go to college and enter rewarding career paths with great earning potential in order to contribute to the health and welfare of their neighborhoods and communities.
Do The Math!
Public Good Benefits: an investment in supplemental math means more students will have the opportunity to build confidence as active participants in their own learning. By setting achievable goals at an early age, students will develop the foundation in math needed for success in the 21st Centry workforce.
Do The Math!
Confidence Building: It takes hours of practice to develop any skill. Supplemental math provides an opportunity to add hundreds of practice hours to develop solid math skills and provide motivation for continued learning.
